'Pamoja' Corporate Philanthropy Sessions
‘Pamoja’ means ‘collective’ or ‘togetherness’ in Swahili – this encapsulate Huruma Bantfu’s intention to strengthen the corporate philanthropy ecosystem by fostering great collaboration and strategic implementing partnerships amongst partners with similarities in programming, initiatives and resource mobilising needs and opportunities.
Huruma Bantfu seeks to bridge the gap between corporate philanthropy practitioners and implementing partners by convening a bi-monthly collaborative networking / knowledge-sharing sessions in which a corporate or an socio-economic impact implementing partner will spotlight their initiatives, programmes, fundraising needs and partnership framework.
Since fragmentation remains a significant challenge in our society, with too many socio-economic programmes ideated to tackle similar problems with limited collaborative approach. It is essential that when solving societal problems with communities, that corporates and implementing partners understand their unique positioning and an ecosystem in which to foster deliberate partnerships.
